Retatrutide
Phase 3aka LY3437943
Triple agonist (GLP-1, GIP, glucagon) in phase 3 for obesity. The one everyone's watching.
Mechanism
One molecule hitting three metabolic receptors at once: GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. The glucagon arm is the interesting part, it bumps energy expenditure on top of the appetite suppression you already get from a GLP-1. On paper it should out-cut tirzepatide, and the phase 2 numbers backed that up.
Regulatory & Safety Status
Still investigational. Lilly's compound, no regulator has signed off, so everything you read is trial data. Anything sold to you right now is grey market.
