Cagrilintide
Phase 3aka AM833
Long-acting amylin analog, usually run alongside semaglutide as CagriSema.
Mechanism
An amylin receptor agonist that drives satiety and slows gastric emptying, a different lever than GLP-1. Stack it with semaglutide (that combo is CagriSema) and the two mechanisms add up.
Regulatory & Safety Status
Investigational (Novo Nordisk), late-stage trials. Not approved yet.
